History of cupping
Cupping therapy is method which is known more than 5500 years. The first mentions about this method have been already found in Mesopotamia by old Indians but also in other parts of the world. Cupping therapy has been adapted for use from a form of traditional Chinese medicine for ages.
After the Cupping Treatment
1) All grimes (so called metabolites) begin to float out of body through sweat glands and lymphatic system
2) A tissue becomes well perfused, it comes to blood clarification, circulation and blood flow improvement
3) During massage cupping it becomes to relaxing of stiffed muscles and pain elimination
Types of Cupping
It is possible to lay glass cups on concrete acupressure spots. It is also possible to move around the skin in a massage-like technique with the help of one glass cup.
We use suction pump in our workplace. These glass cups are laid on a skin and a vacuum is created inside of each one by a suction pump. This negative pressure which grows pulls a skin inside. The skin becomes vehemently vascular and blushes.
Application duration
Effect duration is individual 5-20 minutes 2-3 times per week. Visits number 8-10 times.
Indication
- neck – helps to eliminate the headaches, remove migraine, relax muscles in this area
- lumbar spine – relaxes the backaches, helps by painful menstruation and by kidney difficulties
- pectoral spine (massage proceeds from back and also from) – help by dry cough, it can also help with asthma difficulties, bronchitis and other difficulties connected with a cough
- groin – concentrate on groin if you have problems with urinary bladder and frequent inflammation
- elbow – massage is effective if you have various pains – e.g. tennis elbow
- hip joint – it is good to apply the bulbs directly to disabled joint if you have inflammation, various pains and diseases of hip joint
- knee – if you have knee ache let the bulbs lay on knee joint
- feet and ankle – it helps with gynecological difficulties, period skipping, frigidity, improves a heart function but also helps to vascular legs etc.
Contraindication
- thrombosis
- spasmodic veins
- gangrene and aneurysm (always in the area of incidence of these diseases) and of course the persons treated an open wound or festering infection
